Hunter 1/72 scale plastic kit requires assembly & painting. 125 parts, Length 196mm x 144mm.
The renowned Hawker Hunter is without doubt one of the most elegant postwar jet fighters to be produced in Great Britain and is known for its ease of operation and stable flying characteristics. During the 1950s and early 1960s the Hunter was the main RAF and NATO "sentinel in the skies". Later the Hunter was upgraded and given a new role as a fighter-bomber/ground-attack aircraft with the RAF (FGA.9). By the 70s it was in service with no less than 37 RAF wings. The Swiss air arm received its first Hunters (Mk.58) in the spring of 1959. The Hunter was used as a fighter-bomber in 15 air force squadrons and received extensive modifications.
